Combined Pressure Sensor With Enhanced Dynamic Range Based on Thin Films of Nanotubes and Graphite Nanobelts

چکیده
Herein, we demonstrate the prototype of a combined flexible pressure sensor based on ultrathin multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) and graphite nanobelts (GNBs) films embedded in polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS). A simple scalable modified Langmuir–Blodgett method was used for deposition both MWCNT GNB films. The use two types nanostructures (nanotubes GNBs) with distinctly different mechanical properties allowed obtaining enhanced dynamic range sensing. Short response time, good sensibility flexibility, low power consumption make possible applications healthcare monitoring as component human–machine interfaces application.

Methanol (CH3OH) is a colorless liquid with a mild odor. The wide ranges of applications, toxicity and clinical implications of methanol have made necessary to develop reliable and high-performance methanol sensors. In this paper, WO3 thin films were deposited on SiO2/Si substrates by e-beam evaporation technique under normal and oblique angles and then post-annealed at 500 °C with a flow of ox...

Ultrafast carrier kinetics in exfoliated graphene and thin graphite films.
Time-resolved transmissivity and reflectivity of exfoliated graphene and thin graphite films on a 295 K SiO(2)/Si substrate are measured at 1300 nm following excitation by 150 fs, 800 nm pump pulses. From the extracted transient optical conductivity we identify a fast recovery time constant which increases from approximately 200 to 300 fs and a longer one which increases from 2.5 to 5 ps as the...
